Marcus was a co-Managing Partner with CIVC Partners for over 20 years. CIVC Partners, a leading Chicago based private equity firm, has managed over $2.0 billion of institutional capital and focuses on change of control transactions in a range of outsourced Business Services segments. He has been involved in dozens of transactions over his career in the media, manufacturing, and marketing services industries with companies ranging in revenue from $25mm to $250mm. He is now a senior advisor to the firm.
Marcus also manages his family’s investment partnership and charitable foundation.
Marcus has a BA in Political Science from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He completed a fellowship at Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute.
